Bonaire has something out-of-the-ordinary for everybody. One thing you won't find on Bonaire are huge sandy beaches and the crowds that usually accompany it. Bonaire offers quiet small bays and beaches, perfect places to linger, like Donkey Beach of Playa Chicitu.
At the same time Bonaire has some cosy beaches, like Bongo’s Beach or Sorobon, where you can rent stretchers and where the beach bars serve a drink or a meal.
Bonaire is a good place for going out and about. You won’t find discos and casinos around every corner. However, you will find the relaxed atmosphere of the island in every bar, cafe or restaurant. In most cafes and bars happy hour is from 17.00 till 19.00 o’clock.
Bonaire, with its cultural diversity, offers a large selection of flavourful restaurants. They present a wide variety of international as well as local cuisine, and each and every restaurant will be sure to make you feel at home. Or why don’t you get some delicious take-away from a local ‘snack’?
